We really are dedicated to keeping as much as possible out of the trash stream, but as you saw, it's a huge battle. I also really appreciated the time you spent talking with me, sharing your thoughts and allowing me to bounce ideas off of you. We have taken giant steps foreward regarding the use change of our front deck area from "Big Mess" to "Exciting Events" area. For about a week & a half we had a huge mark-down sale on everything outside, the on Sunday evening just before we closed a man came in and offered to buy everything!!! Can you believe it?!?!?! I got a super little space heater for $5, a set of supima queen-size unfitted cotton sheets for $3, and some fuzzy Disney PJ bottoms ($1.50). I agree to your point that the employees are always so nice. I live in phoenix and I go up north often and always make it a point to stop in the the new thrift store. I wish I had one near me. We have alot of Goodwill stores here in San Diego, and they all sell their "good" stuff online and leave very little of the true treasures for their store shoppers..
