Credit Report Repair in Progess

I’ll be discussing in detail how my credit repair has progressed since I started with Suze Orman’s MyFico program. I actually managed to get a few credit items removed from my report by being persistent and patient. I was told by a phone expert via an employee assistance program that non-errors are almost NEVER removed. So I am feeling cocky.

The first step, of course, to fixing your credit is to know the state of your credit. This is where I started, with this link to free credit reports (you can one free report from each of the three companies per year).

You can also use this Experian program to get a free credit SCORE, which is the next step after you get a report. Note - You have to sign up for a free trail version of their program first: Get your FREE credit score. You do have to mark your calendar to remove yourself from the program after the trial period, unless you wish to keep the service going.
